• Deadline to sign up for Santa Run (organized by Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company), to be held starting 9 a.m. Dec. 19 around Moore Township. Gifts are to be placed outside the residence in a hidden area to be retrieved by firehouse personnel just before Santa’s arrival. Pictures can be taken outside only. • Toys for Tots drop-off (organized by Lehigh Township Police Department), 10 a.m.-3 p.m., in the parking lot of Lehigh Township Fire Department, 4188 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville. The drop-off site will be a COVID-19 safe drive-thru style.
• Santa travels on a firetruck, starting noon, around Northampton. The fire department has canceled its original Santa Run due to the COVID-19 pandemic but is conducting this abbreviated version.

• Do-it-yourself “Gingerbread Mouse” storytime begins (book and activity sheet with ideas following the five early literacy practices included). • Morning Glories meeting, 10 a.m., at Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., Catasauqua. There will be no cooking sale or Christmas buffet this year, but an exchange of presents and games are planned. Homemade cookies in sandwich bags may be brought for a cookie exchange as well.
