·Big Brothers Big Sisters Lehigh Valley is looking for compassionate and energetic volunteers to become ‘Bigs’ for youth ages 7-16 in Lehigh and Northampton counties. Matches typically meet twice a month and can participate in activities they are most interested in. Orientation, interview, references and clearances required, and a commitment to being matched with your Little for at least one year.

·Holiday Hope Chests need volunteers to donate wrapped shoeboxes filled with age appropriate items for Lehigh Valley’s children in need. Suggested gift lists are provided on our website. This program, coordinated by the Volunteer Center, is a great project for large or small groups, clubs, classes, families and individuals.

·Lehigh County Humane Society needs cat loving volunteers at PetSmart, Bethlehem, to clean cages, scoop litter pans, socialize and give lots of cuddles. One-hour flexible shifts morning and afternoons Fridays; afternoons Saturdays and Sundays. Minimum age 16 or 13 with parent.
