Five members of the Parkland cross country team earned East Penn Conference All-Lehigh County honors recently.

The league announced its list of all-stars for the 2020 season recently. This year the league held all its dual meets within county lines and the all-star lists are broken down by county.

Parkland boys runners Ben Esquieres, Paul Abeln and Josh Beltrame all made the first team. They’re joined by Trojan girls runners Elena Wenger and Brooke Labenberg. Parkland also had a few runners earn second-team honors, including Ava Bendetti and Gracie Trexler on the girls team along with Brady Hoffman, Cameron Price and Brian Warren on the boys team.

A league MVP was named for both boys and girls. Liberty’s Emily Jobes and Cole Frank earned the MVP honors. Both Hurricane runners took first place at districts.

The following is a list of this year’s East Penn Conference cross country all-stars.

GIRLS

Lehigh County

First Team

Second Team

Northampton County

First Team

Second Team

Brianna Tyler (Northampton), Caitlin Voloshen (Nazareth), Madeline Mumma (Liberty), Harvest Gil (Easton), Ren Burkit (Northampton).

First Team

Ciara Conboy (Stroudsburg), Mikayla DeReinzi (Pleasant Valley), Ella Bray (Pocono Mountain West), Paris Hayden (Pocono Mountain East), Carly Frable (Pocono Mountain East).

Second Team
