Five Emmaus cross country runners were named to the East Penn Conference Lehigh County First Team.

The league announced its list of all-stars for the 2020 season recently. This year the league held all its dual meets within county lines and the all-star lists are broken down by county.

On the girls list, Emmaus’s Ashleigh McNellis, Hailey Reinhard and Kera Reinahrd were all selected to the first team. Teammates Keerstin Augustin, Clara Kennedy and Isabella Lees were all named to the second team.

Hornet boys runners Nick Buonanno and Geoffrey Kleinberg both earned first-team honors, while teammates Keshav Shankar and Ethan Strzempak both made the second team.

A league MVP was named for both boys and girls. Liberty’s Emily Jobes and Cole Frank earned the MVP honors. Both Hurricane runners took first place at districts.
