Coplay’s Christmas plaza, located next to the borough building, 98 S. Fourth St., has a new look this December.
Coplay Recreation and Welfare Association purchased seven new Christmas decorations, ranging from snowmen to carolers.
The lighted decorations replace a nativity scene that had long been the focal piece for the holiday season in the borough. The nativity scene included life-size Jesus, Mary, Joseph, wise men, shepherds, lambs, donkeys and a large camel. The decorations are now a part of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church’s Christmas decor.
