Allen Township Fire Department has canceled its Operation Santa due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the station’s Facebook page, “In an effort to still have the Christmas spirit for the children, we are going to drive through the populated neighborhoods of our township with Santa on the fire truck.”

This drive-through will take place Dec. 13, starting around noon.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Kreidersville, is suspending worship services in the sanctuary.

Livestreamed services on Facebook will begin 9 a.m. each Sunday.
