For more than an hour once a week, Robin Sands Seip and her husband, Jim Seip, took area residents away from their thoughts as they listened to popular music from the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s.
Their performances of music and entertainment lasted 24 weeks and area residents were grateful for the diversion from COVID-19 and the ensuing difficulties.
Neighbors and friends danced and made new friends while sitting in lawn chairs distancing from everyone and wearing masks.
When it was Jim’s birthday, Robin saw to it that balloons and cupcakes were available to celebrate.
Area residents are looking forward to the time when Robin and Jim will be back entertaining at West Park, Cedar Beach and the Active Life Center, and at all of their paid gigs.
