The outdoor tree lighting will not be held this year, but the public works department will have the tree lit - possibly as early as next week.
The decorated streetlights were the result of a project undertaken several years ago by a small citizens group. In addition, the community plaza at Second and Chestnut streets will also be aglow with lights and decorations for the Christmas season.
