State police

Theft

Two females allegedly worked together and used a sleight of hand scam to obtain a total of $2,010 from a cashier at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:17 p.m. Oct. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The women left the scene in a dark colored sedan.

Three people removed used restaurant grease from The Buckeye Tavern, 3741 Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The theft was reported 7:37 a.m. Oct. 15. The restaurant owner usually sells the grease to a recycling company, police said.

A 26-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly removed $50 cash and property valued at $50 from Holiday Inn Allentown-Bethlehem, 4325 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, while he was an employee at the business May 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported May 15.

Two political campaign lawn signs, each valued at $10, were removed from the yard of a residence in the 1400 block of Hidden Valley Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 9 p.m. Oct. 31 and 9 a.m. Nov. 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Four political campaign lawn signs, with a total value of approximately $80, were removed from the yard of a residence in the 1700 block of Pinewind Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 5 p.m. Oct. 18 and 5:30 p.m. Oct. 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A flower planter, valued at $120, was removed from the front of Willow Lane Elementary School, 6135 Sauerkraut Lane, Lower Macungie Township, between 4 p.m. Sept. 28 and 8 a.m. Sept. 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Theft from vehicle

Justin Richard Buckner, 31, of Maryland, allegedly removed a black purse, valued at $60, a debit card, a credit card and $650 cash from a pickup truck parked in the 6300 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 3:55 a.m. Sept. 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Robbery

A 14-year-old male, of Allentown and a 14-year-old male, of Wescosville, were taken into custody after they allegedly attacked and robbed a 15-year-old male, of Allentown, for his fanny pack at a location on North Hedgerow Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. One of the teens struck the 15-year-old male in the chest approximately five times and the other teen struck the 15-year-old male seven times in the legs and once in the face. The 14-year-old teens took the fanny pack, valued at $150, containing a gold and silver chain necklace, valued at $20, a folding pocketknife, valued at $60 and a $10 bill. The teens were apprehended near the scene of the robbery, according to state police.

DUI

Eric Charles Moyer, 23, of Barto, allegedly was driving under the influence when his vehicle went into a ditch along South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 9:55 p.m. Oct. 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Moyer was driving southbound on South Cedar Crest Boulevard near Lower Macungie Road when he began to swerve in and out of the southbound lane and went off the road, according to police.

Moyer also was charged with alleged careless driving and driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked.

Stew’s Towing also responded.

A 29-year-old male, of Macungie, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a two-vehicle accident on St. Peter’s Road near the intersection of Macungie Mountain Road and Indian Creek Road, Upper Milford Township, 9:30 p.m. Aug. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Criminal mischief

A custom-made wooden sign with metal stakes, valued at $60, requesting pets be kept off a lawn along Pinewind Drive, Lower Macungie Township, has been damaged multiple times over the last three months, most recently overnight Oct. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The front lawn borders a sidewalk. Anyone with information regarding the incident may contact state police at 610-395-1438.

A park bench, valued at $200, was damaged at a location in the 1100 block of Grange Road, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The damage was reported Nov. 7.

Possible overdose

Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville troopers responded to a location along Robert Road, Upper Milford Township, for an adult male who was passed out 10:27 p.m. Sept. 16. An EMS crew revived the male who refused treatment at the scene.

Retail theft

Nakenge A. Pugh, 43, of Allentown, allegedly failed to scan various items, with a total value of $565.46, at a self-check register at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:11 p.m. Oct. 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Accident

A 16-year-old female, of Breinigsville, was struck by a vehicle while pushing carts at a location on Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:34 p.m. Nov. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was in a crosswalk and moved forward as the teen passed, striking her feet.
