Possession of a controlled substance

Worris Carl Mitchell, 53, of Allentown, was charged Nov. 7 with alleged possession with the intent to deliver controlled substances, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and related traffic offenses following a traffic stop in the 1100 block of East Susquehanna Street, according to Salisbury police. Mitchell was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Bentley Lane Swartz, 30, of Mifflintown, was charged Oct. 26 with alleged possession of a controlled substance following an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, according to Salisbury police.

A 29-year-old male, of East Stroudsburg, was charged Nov. 5 with alleged possession of a controlled substance following an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, according to Salisbury police.

Martin A. Folk, 53, of Lyon Station, was charged Nov. 7 with alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, according to Salisbury police.

DUI

Giuseppe Carbone Jr., 20, of Allentown, was charged Oct. 30 with allegedly driving under the influence and related traffic offenses following a motor vehicle accident in the area of Lincoln Avenue and Glick Avenue, according to Salisbury police. Carbone was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Miguel Santos Jr., 40, of Allentown, was charged Nov. 3 with allegedly driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and related traffic offenses following a traffic stop in the 800 block of East Susquehanna Street, according to Salisbury police. Santos was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Criminal mischief

A mailbox was damaged in the 500 block of East Rock Road, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Nov. 5.

Assists

Salisbury police officers assisted Western Salisbury Volunteer Fire Company firefighters with a fire alarm in the 2800 block of Fairfield Drive Oct. 28, according to Salisbury police. The cause of the alarm was found to be burned food.

Salisbury police officers assisted Western Salisbury Volunteer Fire Company firefighters with an automatic fire alarm at the Legacy Place Cottages, 2051 Bevin Drive, Nov. 4, according to Salisbury police.

Found property

Salisbury police recovered a Next orange and silver bicycle in the 1300 block of East Emmaus Avenue Oct. 31. Anyone with information regarding the bicycle may contact Salisbury police at 610-797-1447.
