The PIAA District XI Committee conducted an emergency meeting this morning and the following motions were approved:

• To amend previously approved championship final deadline of Monday, Nov. 16, 2020 for 1A and 3A football classifications and extend deadline to Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020.

• To amend previously approved championship final deadline of Monday, Nov. 23, 2020 for 2A, 4A, and 6A football classifications and extend deadline to Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020.

• If a championship final is unable to be played by the extended deadline (Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020) in any classification, the competing teams will be declared “co-champions” and awards will be provided to both teams.

As a result of the aforementioned actions:

• The District XI 1A Football Championship Final between #1 Williams Valley and #2 Tri Valley will be contested on Friday, Nov. 27, 2020 at noon at North Schuylkill.

• The District XI 4A Football Championship Final between #1 North Schuylkill and #2 Notre Dame GP will be contested on Friday, Nov. 27, 2020 at 7 p.m. at Northwestern Lehigh

God willing, our 2A, 4A, and 6A Championship Finals will be played this week at Whitehall, but if something arises, we will have the option of postponing until the latest, Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020 which is the PIAA established deadline.
