William Albert Schmeltzle, 83, of Macungie, died Nov. 13, 2020, at home. Born at 13 W. Main St., Macungie, he was a son of the late George H. and Marguerite (Geiger) Schmeltzle.

He was a graduate of Emmaus High School.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He retired from Allentown Brake and Wheel where he was employed as a salesman and collection agent.

He was a member of Solomon’s United Church of Christ and a member of the choir.

He was an avid fan of BECCA High School boys basketball team.

He was a proud dog parent of three beloved West Highland Terriers.

He is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the last of five siblings; two brothers and two sisters. He was predeceased by his companion, Edward S. Dimovitz who died Nov. 17, 2013.

Contributions may be made to the church.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Nov. 18 at Solomon’s United Church of Christ, 82 S. Church St., Macungie. Friends may call 10 a.m. until time of service. Arrangements were made by the Boyko Funeral Home, Allentown.
