Northampton: Office to be closed for Thanksgiving

The Northampton Borough Municipal Building will be closed Nov. 26 and 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Northampton Area Food Bank, 1601 Canal St., is requesting donations of turkeys, canned cranberry sauce, corn, green beans, boxed stuffing and pumpkin pies.

Items can be dropped off 9:30 a.m.-noon Wednesdays. Call 610-262-8030 to make arrangements.

Roxy Theatre will show “The Polar Express” 7 p.m. Dec. 7-10.

Doors open 6:30 p.m.

A special matinee will be offered 1 p.m. Dec. 9. Doors open 12:50 p.m.

Tickets are limited and required. Admission is a canned good or nonperishable item for the food bank.

Monday bingo has returned to Northampton Banquet and Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave.

Doors open 5:15 p.m., and games will begin 6:30 p.m. Masks are mandatory.
