Parent-teacher conferences for Gockley, Steckel and Zephyr elementary schools and Whitehall-Coplay Middle School students will take place Nov. 23, 24 and 25.

For elementary schools, no students will come into the buildings on these days; rather, they will be learning in an asynchronous model.

For WCMS, students will have half days and follow the hybrid virtual day schedule (Wednesday schedule) for these days.

Your child’s teacher will communicate on the structure of the three days of assignments and what the live check-in will look like.

Also, you will receive confirmation via electronic communication from your child’s teacher with the conference time and date, held by Zoom or phone when necessary. Please confirm with your child’s teacher you are able to attend.

Thanksgiving break will be Nov. 26-30. Have a happy and safe holiday!

Mason jar days at Zephyr Elementary will be held Nov. 30-Dec. 4. Students will have an opportunity to estimate the number of candies in a large Mason jar displayed in the school’s foyer. At the completion of the week, the student closest to the number without going over will receive the contents of the jar.
