CMS News: Conferences, early dismissal Nov. 19

Catasauqua Middle School virtual parent-teacher conferences continue Nov. 19, by teacher request. Additionally, students will be dismissed 12:20 p.m. Nov. 19. Lunch will be served.

If you do not receive a request for a conference but would like to meet with your child’s teacher(s), virtual day conferences can be conducted anytime throughout the school year during their grade-level designated time - eighth grade is 8:53-9:35 a.m.; seventh grade is 10:21-11:03 a.m.; sixth grade is 11:37 a.m.-12:19 p.m.; and fifth grade is 1:05-1:47 p.m.

Prepare now for CMS spirit days, planned for Nov. 23-25.

Wear your pajamas and slippers Nov. 23, support your favorite sports teams Nov. 24 and show your Catty pride by wearing brown and white Nov. 25.

Dress code rules still apply; all apparel must be appropriate.

Students will be dismissed early - 11 a.m. - Nov. 25. No lunches will be served. Due to COVID-19, there will be no pep rally.

Schools will be closed Nov. 26-30 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Students return to classes Dec. 1.

The contactless, curbside meal pickup days for all Catasauqua Area School District residents ages 18 and under have changed.

Meals will only be offered 9:45-10:15 a.m. Thursdays in front of Sheckler Elementary School. There will be five days worth of meals given out.

Please arrive with a clean vehicle trunk.

The schedule is subject to change.

The week of Thanksgiving, meals will be given out Nov. 24, a Tuesday, instead.
