On Thursday, Nov. 12, the Colonial League announced a plan to attempt to hold winter sports contests for the 2020-21 winter season.

The league said they approved a modified schedule Thursday morning at their full member meeting.

The league said all current Colonial League schedules will be deleted and the league will play the following contests:

Basketball - Each school will play each other member school one time for a total of 12 games.

Wrestling - Each school will wrestle each other wrestling member school one time for a total of 11 matches.

There will be a mandatory contest shut down period from Dec. 24 2020 through Jan. 10 2021.

The first scheduled league basketball game will be played on Dec. 11, 2020. The first scheduled league wrestling match will be wrestled on Dec, 12 2020. Some schools will have to make adjustments due to facility availability.

A full Colonial League schedule is currently being built. The league hopes to publish schedules by this weekend or early next week.
