A 29-year-old New Tripoli man died Nov. 10 when his 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle struck a drainage culvert at Kings Highway and Allemaengel Road, Lynn Township.
According to Lehigh County Coroner Eric Minnich, Brandon Walbert of New Tripoli was pronounced dead at 1:33 a.m. Tuesday by Lehigh County Deputy Coroner Cassandra Schiffner at the scene.
Minnich said the cause of Walbert’s death was multiple traumatic injuries.
He ruled the manner of his death an accident.
According to State Police Troop M, Fogelsville, Walbert was traveling in the westbound lane of Kings Highway negotiating a right curve when he came to the end of the curve and lost control of his motorcycle.
Police say the motorcycle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a culvert.
Walbert was wearing a motorcycle helmet, police say.
New Tripoli Fire and Rescue, Cetronia Ambulance Corps, Stew’s Towing and Troopers Prentice, Zampini and Snyder assisted at the scene.
