Roughies Report: Thanksgiving Day football game is set

Catasauqua Area School District is proud to announce the 98th Turkey Day football game against Northampton Area High School will be played this year.

The game will take place on CASD’s Alumni Field and begins 10 a.m. Nov. 26.

A limited number of tickets will be available to the families of the players, cheerleaders and band members from both schools. No general admission tickets will be sold. The game will be livestreamed to both communities.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Catasauqua High School canceled its pep rally, bonfire and the senior captain’s dinner. Additionally, this year’s powderpuff game is postponed and will be rescheduled in the spring if a mutually agreeable date becomes available.

More information will become available as we get closer to the game.
