Hokendauqua: Church seeking winter items

First Presbyterian Church of Hokendauqua, 3005 S. Front St., is seeking donations of new mittens, gloves, hats, scarves, earmuffs, etc. Drop off donations 9 a.m.-noon Wednesdays at the front door.

There will be a Miller-Keystone Blood Center blood drive 4-7 p.m. Nov. 16 at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road.

The Rev. Christine Kass, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, is planning a Zoom meeting for people interested in becoming members of the church.

Whitehall Food Pantry is seeking volunteers to help 5:30-7:30 p.m. the fourth Monday of each month at its location inside St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 3900 Mechanicsville Road.

At least 12 people are needed to unload trucks/cars, check expiration dates, stock shelves and distribute items. Monetary donations are also appreciated.

Faith Evangelical Lutheran is conducting indoor services 9 a.m. Sundays. The congregation is taking measures to protect the safety of attendees.

Services are also livestreamed for those worshipping at home.
