Dave & Buster’s features competitive games, tasty menu, more

Dave & Buster’s, a popular restaurant and entertainment destination, opened its doors Oct. 26 at 1457 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, adjacent to the Lehigh Valley Mall.

The restaurant not only offers a plethora of food and beverage options but also provides fun for all ages with an arcade, sports bar and virtual reality games.

The 30,000-square-foot restaurant and entertainment space features an arcade with hundreds of games and the state-of-the-art D&B Sports Bar filled with dozens of HDTVs and a chef-crafted menu with options for every taste and diet preference, according to the company’s news release.

Game players win tickets that can be redeemed for a wide array of prizes, including Apple products, Xbox consoles, Beats by Dre and more. D&B also offers thrilling multiplayer virtual reality attractions such as Jurassic World VR Expedition, Dragonfrost, Star Trek: Dark Remnant experience, Men in Black: Galactic Gateway and the Terminator: Guardian of Fate.

For those concerned about dietary options, the sports bar offers a variety of choices including fan favorites like smashed bar burgers and bistro steak and the new grilled chicken Alfredo. Healthier options include the brand-new chicken tostada salad, LightLife burgers and ancho caesar grilled chicken lettuce wraps. Shareable items are also available if you and your friends would like to try multiple options.

Happy hour, which is offered 5-7 p.m. Sundays through Fridays, includes half-priced cocktails, $2.50 domestic pints, $1 off 22-ounce drafts and glasses of wine and $3 off bottles of wine.

The restaurant will also be offering 20 percent off food and game play for front-line workers during the pandemic, as well as armed forces members, as a token of their appreciation.

D&B follows new health and safety precautions, according to Konnect Agency Account Executive Yvonne Lo.

In compliance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local/state health departments, the location requires all guests to wear a mask (with gloves available upon request) with social distancing standards in place. Hand sanitizing stations are also available throughout the store, and all team members have their temperature taken at the beginning of each shift and are required to wear both masks and gloves.

“The safety of our customers and employees is our top priority,” said Jeff Hartwyk, general manager. “We’re taking proactive measures to reinforce our health and safety procedures and look forward to bringing good clean fun to the Whitehall community.”
