Congratulations to the 2020 Allentown Central Catholic High School Homecoming Court; Jah’Kai Douglas, Robert Garza, Liam Gibson, Mason Maxim, Jack McGorry, Daniel Wheeler, Erica Dietz, Gwendolyn Minogue, Lauren Pristas, Monica Vargo, Emily Vaughan and Julia Vicario. Liam Gibson and Emily Vaughan were crowned Homecoming King and Homecoming Queen.

A pep rally was held Oct. 28 in Rockne Hall to kick off the annual Holy War football game against Bethlehem Catholic. Central defeated Bethlehem Catholic 35-3. The Vikings advanced to District XI 4A quarterfinals.

Congratulations to our new 2020-2021 Viking and Vikette, Robert Garza and Monica Vargo. We are excited to see how much spirit they will bring to Central!

Senior Viking and Vikette Student Council members held their annual trunk or treat event Oct. 30. The event was held for the Sacred Heart School students at St. Paul’s campus. ACCHS students dressed in costumes and safely handed out treats. Happy Halloween from Central Catholic.

Congratulations to the Viking golf team who claimed a victory over the priests in the annual Bishop’s Cup at Allentown Municipal Course Oct. 20. Great job to Henry Sweterlisch, AJ Woytek, Nolan Russo, Michael Stahley, Nathan Myers and Joey Duffy.

ACCHS basketball won the Lehigh Valley Fall Basketball League Championship with a victory over William Allen High School. Tyson Thomas was named most valuable player. Congratulations Vikings!

The ACCHS 2019-2020 yearbook, Glen Echoes, will be available for pick up Dec. 28 and 29. A time is to be determined.
