Whitehall Township Public Library: Library is continuing fall brown bag book sale fundraiser
We will continue the fall harvest brown bag book sale fundraiser. Each bag will be packed and ready with five to 10 clean books.
The bags will be marked with subject, author or topic. Some examples include mysteries, romance, young adult, children, Debbie Macomber, James Patterson, a surprise “blind date” bag and large print. The bags are located in the Friends of the Library book sale area.
You may purchase as many bags as you would like. New bags and subjects will be added each week. Additional books are available for purchase.
Pay at the circulation desk. Checks can be made payable to WTPL. We are also accepting cash and credit cards.

Don’t forget you have until Nov. 13 to watch the virtual campfire presentation from local storyteller Charles B. Kiernan. Visit the library website, whitehallpl.org, and click on our program page to find “An October Evening of Tales.”
Kiernan has done many storytelling programs as well as Mark Twain talks for the library. He hopes to do more virtual programs over the next few months.

You will also find storytimes and craft ideas for kids on the website, whitehallpl.org/kids. The activities are available to download and do at home.
We will be adding more storytimes each month and hope to add some teen and adult programs.

All library items must be returned into the yellow book drops in the library parking lot.
We empty the drop boxes a few times each day, but all items are placed in quarantine for a week before we can check them in.
Fines are waived until Dec. 31; however, fines will be charged on items that were due before March 12.
