Elizabeth “Betty” A. Ortelli, 82, of Allentown, died Oct. 27, 2020, while in the care of St. Luke’s Hospice House. She was the wife of Richard “Dick” T. Ortelli for 63 years.

Born in Moore Township, she was a daughter of the late Elwood and Myrtle (Schaeffer) Reimer.

She was a Class of 1955 Northampton High School graduate.

She was a seamstress at Sondra Manufacturing for many years before she retired.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, both in Allentown.

She was a member of UNITE.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Ric and his wife Pat (Dilliard) of Northampton; a sister, Sarah Sotak; two brothers, Alfred Reimer and his wife Doris and Franklin Reimer; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

She was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Frey; a brother, Elwood “Goug” Reimer; and a brother-in-law, Roger Sotak.
