Doris F. Palmer, 85, formerly of Salisbury Township, died Oct. 28, 2020, at Quarryville Nursing Home, Quarryville. She was the wife of the late Allan C. Palmer, who died in 2012. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Arlene (Merkel) Schaffer.

She was a school bus driver at The Swain School, Allentown, until her retirement.

She was a member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by daughters, Deborah and her husband, Henry Crush, Sherry and her husband, David Hadinger, Karen and her husband, Roger Diehl, Mary and her husband, Thomas Wilton, Melissa and her husband, David Miller and Kristina and her husband, Daniel Waterman; siblings, Thomas, Paul and Robert Schaffer and Sharon Trapp; 38 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings, Arthur Schaffer, Miriam Harris, Arthea Callery, Lorraine Reddington and Janette Masters.
