St. John’s Lutheran Church and St. Peter Roman Catholic Church are reminding the community to get their orders in for filling (stuffing) for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Reportedly, demand has been high this year, so orders should be placed as soon as possible.

St. Peter is also taking orders for sauerkraut.

Following more than two years of construction, the Coplay-Northampton Bridge, which opened November 2019, will observe its anniversary in the next couple of weeks.

The final phase of the bridge work took place recently under the bridge. Contractors paved the Ironton Rail Trail section for walkers and bicyclists. That section was the only area of the trail not paved, now making a completely paved route.

The new bridge replaced a cement bridge, which opened in the 1930s.
