Recovering from the economic and human toll of the coronavirus pandemic will be my top priority. While Pennsylvanians understood early measures taken to address COVID-19, I believe it is time to turn to a model of transparency and building coalitions in decision-making. We must bring together all stakeholders – legislators, small businesses, the medical community, educators, residents and others – to make open decisions based on real data. Our goal must be restarting our economy in a safe and responsible manner that protects citizens and workers – because a resurgent economy will help us address many of the challenges we face today.
