We hear this phrase from candidates in every election - “This is the most important election of our lifetime.” To every Lehigh County voter, this is America’s most important election, and the vote you cast for president will define the future of our country for years. When making your decision, think back to our most successful presidents, Republican and Democrat, and ask yourself which candidate will return the honor and decorum of the office of the president and possesses the attributes we seek in our next president:

• A Leader: A president who will exhibit leadership in eradicating COVID-19 and in every issue or crisis that may befall our nation

• A Unifier: A president who will represent every American and not stoke division

• A Visionary: A president who has a plan for reducing unemployment, rebuilding our economy, restoring the middle class and combating climate change

• A Protector: A president who will defend the Constitution, protect Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act

• A Warrior: A president who will maintain and upgrade the defenses of the U.S. military and use them when necessary

• A Peacemaker/Diplomat: A president who will return the United States to the world stage as a trusted member of the United Nations and a guardian of human rights

• Moral conviction and integrity: A president who should practice and live his faith every waking moment of his life

The only candidate that meets all of these attributes and is fit to hold the office of president is Joe Biden.
