Cross country and Vikette tennis finish season

The Allentown Central Catholic High School cross country teams competed in their last meet for the season Oct. 15 against Whitehall. The varsity boys took the top six spots. The varsity girls also dominated the top 10 spots. Great job!
Congratulations to Vikette tennis for reaching the team District XI semi-finals with a hard fought win over Blue Mountain. Unfortunately, their season ended with a loss to Moravian Academy. Great job Vikettes!
Viking varsity and JV soccer defeated Whitehall Oct. 21. Varsity scored 5-3 and JV 2-1, their last regular season game before districts. Vikette soccer defeated Whitehall 2-1. Vikette volleyball defeated Whitehall (25-10, 25-16, 25-15) Go Vikes!
Congratulations to Vikette Riley Stauffer who was honored at senior night. Riley plays field hockey on the Salisbury High School team as part of a co-op with ACCHS.

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Central City Project Food Pantry. The Central City Project distributed 75 bags of groceries to the local residents in the Jordan Heights neighborhood. Each bag also contained hot peppers and leeks from the Amy Sullivan Memorial Urban Garden.
Campus Ministry will hold the All Saints All Souls Retreat, 2:15-7 p.m. Nov. 2. Students will pray for the dead and learn about the tradition of celebrating All Saints and All Souls Day. As part of the retreat students will walk through a 200-year-old cemetery, tour the Most Blessed Sacrament in Bally (the oldest Catholic Church in the Diocese of Allentown) and celebrate a special Mass for the Holy Souls.
