The Northampton boys cross country team finished fifth overall in the district at Tuesday’s District 11 cross country meet at Blue Mountain. Zeke Colyer finished second and will advance to states which takes place on Nov. 7. Owen Nahf (6th), Johnny Breslin (16th), Evan Dempsey (32nd), Wyatt Poniktera (38th), and Nick Amato (43rd) also competed in the race. Colyer and Nahf, pictured at the right, medaled. In a normal, non-COVID year, Nahf’s sixth place finish would have also qualified him for states. The girls race took place Wednesday, Oct. 28, after Press deadlines.
