Buckeye Partners donates $15,000 to Cetronia Ambulance Corps

Cetronia Ambulance Corps recently received a charitable contribution in the amount of $15,000 from Buckeye Partners, L.P.

Buckeye, headquartered in Houston, Texas, with a large presence in Breinigsville and Macungie, recently announced the global company committed $1 million to various charities chosen by its employees to aid organizations affected by COVID-19.

“Buckeye is committed to empowering its teams. Our Breinigsville office personnel, like all our regional teams, selected a small group of great local charities to receive donations,” said Buckeye Partners EVP Robert A. Malecky. “Cetronia Ambulance Corps is a select first responder that has served our community admirably for many years including through the current COVID crisis.

“We are proud to support their service to our community.”

Breinigsville-based employees voted for their top charities in two categories: Humanitarian Efforts and First Responders/Medical Personnel.

Cetronia Ambulance Corps was one of five Lehigh Valley nonprofit organizations to receive equal contributions.

“This is a very sizable charity donation for our Corps. We want to recognize the importance this has made and that we are very gracious to have been selected,” said Cetronia Ambulance Corps Interim CEO Bob Mateff. “The effects to our organization from COVID-19 are much more than a financial hardship, but have also been an emotional burden to our associates. It will take us a long while to fully recover.

“We continue to remain positive and know that every dollar contributed is one step closer to helping us save as many lives as possible in our community. We are lucky to be able to serve so many great companies and individuals.”
