PRESS PHOTOS BY DEBRA PALMIERI New Tripoli Fire Company Safety Office Donald Christ, Deputy Chief Gary Kuntz Jr. and volunteer firefighter Derek Dorney brought trucks and various Jaws of Life equipment to the joint drive-by fire prevention program with the Germansville Fire Company. The event took place Oct. 17 at Star Plaza, Routes 309 and 100, Heidelberg Township.

Goodwill Fire Company, Germansville, volunteer firefighters Andrew Foulk, Chief Jay Scheffler, Neil Fritz Jr., Nathan Zazo, Tillana Foulk, (back) Rick Young, Jason Zimmerman and Billy Schellhammer Jr. were on hand to teach kids about fire safety.

During the drive-by fire prevention program at Star Plaza, a call came in for firefighters to assist at a medical emergency. Volunteer firefighters from both New Tripoli and Weisenberg quickly responded.
