False identification to law enforcement
Fernando Lemos, 44, of Allentown, was charged with allegedly making false identification to law enforcement and several traffic offenses after a traffic stop on Jill Street Sept. 30, according to Salisbury police. Lemos also allegedly had a bench warrant from Lehigh County. He was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.
Warrant
A 42-year-old female, of Allentown, was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center on an arrest warrant Oct. 7, according to Salisbury police.
Possession
A 15-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged with alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana and disorderly conduct following an incident at the Salisbury Township School District Bus Garage, 1700 Gaskill St., Sept. 30, according to Salisbury police.
Burglary
Several pieces of jewelry, with a total value of approximately $13,300, were removed from a residence in the 1400 block of Pearl Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Oct. 6 and remains under investigation.
Numerous pieces of jewelry, with a total value in excess of $6,000, were removed from a residence in the 2500 block of Nevada Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Oct. 8 and remains under investigation.
Theft from vehicle
A catalytic converter, worth $200 to $300, was removed from a vehicle parked in the 1700 block of South Albert Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Oct. 4 and remains under investigation.
Fraud
A resident of the 3200 block of Douglas Road learned unemployment benefits were filed for in her name without her knowledge, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Oct. 8.
A resident of the 400 block of East Federal Street learned an unknown person made four fraudulent purchases, totaling $379.10, using her Allentown Federal Credit Union account, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Sept. 30 and remains under investigation.
Theft
A resident of the 800 block of South 24th Street reported mail was removed from a mailbox between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 7, according to Salisbury police. The incident remains under investigation.
Burn ordinance violation
The Salisbury Township Police Department assisted Salisbury volunteer firefighters with an open burning violation in the 800 block of Lawrence Street Sept. 30, according to Salisbury police. The homeowner received information on the township burning ordinance.
Assists
Salisbury police assisted Salisbury volunteer firefighters who responded for an odor of natural gas in the 1200 block of Potomac Street Oct 4. Officers assisted as needed at the scene. UGI Utilities also responded.
Salisbury police assisted Salisbury volunteer firefighters responding to a dwelling fire in the 2900 block of Werleys Lane Oct. 5. Responding officers found the fire was burning embers near a pile of wood and the fire was put out by the homeowner.
Salisbury police assisted Salisbury volunteer firefighters at a chimney fire in the 1400 block of Pearl Avenue Oct. 9.
