To the Editor:

This election season, I will be supporting Jason Ruff for state representative (of the 183rd Legislative District). As a native of the district, as well as a Slatington Borough councilman and local business owner, Jason would be a capable leader for us.

Jason has experience working across communities and the aisle. He understands the problems caused by lack of action in Harrisburg and will work to solve them.

Jason wants to eliminate corruption. For too long, big money, instead of ordinary Pennsylvanians, has made the policies. Jason will work for common-sense reforms to create an accountable legislature that listens to the people.

Jason will work to end gerrymandering and make our election districts fair. He will also remove the unequal cost of education funding placed on homeowners through property taxes by making sure Lehigh Valley school districts get their fair share of state funds.

Jason has a history of fighting wasteful tax increases from his experience on borough council through cutting costs and finding new revenue streams. He will bring this mentality to Harrisburg to keep our schools going and our homeowners secure.

A vote for Jason Ruff is a vote for the responsive and accountable state government we are looking for!
