Bath: Klecknersville group plans curbside seafood dinner Oct. 24

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, is planning a curbside pickup seafood feast 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Oct. 24.

The menu includes a breaded seafood feast consisting of a breaded haddock fillet, crabcake, six breaded shrimp, six breaded scallops, clam strips, two breaded oysters, hush puppies, steak fries and coleslaw.

There will also be a fish and chips meal, which includes two breaded haddock fillets, steak fries, hush puppies and coleslaw; and a shrimp and chips meal, which includes eight breaded shrimp, steak fries, hush puppies and coleslaw.

All meals will include tartar sauce and cocktail sauce.

Pastors Barry and Elizabeth Mitchell, former pastors at Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, will be recognized at the NEPA Synod Assembly Oct. 24 for the 40th anniversary of their ordinations.

The borough of Bath welcomes all children to visit Mayor Fiorella Reginelli-Mirabito and the Pennsylvania State Police outside of borough hall, 121 S. Walnut St., for trick or treat 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.

All are asked to social distance. Treats will be distributed.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, is looking for an interim youth ministry leader.

This would be someone to coordinate, direct and facilitate Sunday school and youth group events via the Internet or in person, based on the safety of the youth. This includes curriculum design and teacher development to complete these tasks.

Emmanuel’s Church is in need of volunteers to help with the biannual cleanup of the cemetery 9 a.m. Nov. 7. New members and families are welcome.

The church policy states decorations must be removed before Thanksgiving and Easter.
