St. John’s United Church of Christ, Howertown, 22 Atlas Road, Allen Township, will hold a walk-in basket social Oct. 22-24.

Hours are 3-7 p.m. Oct. 22 and 23 and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 24. The drawing will take place 1 p.m. Oct. 24 via Facebook. Winners are able to pick up their baskets 10 a.m.-noon Oct. 25.

Masks must be worn when entering the church. Social distancing is also required.

East Allen Township will hold trick or treat 6-8 p.m. Oct. 30.

Allen Township has planned its treat-or-treat night for 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.

Those wishing to hand out candy to the costumed kids are asked to turn on their porch lights.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Kreidersville, has resumed worship services in the sanctuary.
