Matching gift challenge through Oct. 25

Through a matching gift challenge from PPL, Nestle Waters North America and Embassy Bank for the Lehigh Valley, “Preserve our Future” campaign contributions to the Wildlands Conservancy are eligible to be matched through Oct. 25.

The businesses have challenged Wildlands to raise $17,500 they will match in support of its 14 nature preserves.

The land trust’s fully established nature preserves have experienced increased usage during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Contributions will help address the funding needs to keep these nature preserves safe and accessible, most notably Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary in Emmaus, which suffered severe damages from Tropical Storm Isaias.
