Jean M. Conroy, 92, of Whitehall, formerly of Allentown, died Oct. 10, 2020, in Fellowship Manor, Allentown.
She was the wife of the late James J. Conroy who died in 1995.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Christine (Marcusky) Panzarella.
She was an auxiliary member of VFW Post 7293, Whitehall.
Her survivors include daughters Jean C. Reckus of Schnecksville, and Barbara (Arthur) Gussett, Hampton, Va.; son Thomas J. Conroy of Allentown; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sisters Christine Romanelli of Wyoming, Luzerne County, Leora Roots of Arizona, Patricia Gorney of Clark Summit, and Alice DeManicor, Hazle Township; brother Thomas Panzarella, Glen Lyon.
She was predeceased by her son, Ronald J. Panzarella and her granddaughter, Nadia Conroy.
There will be a private funeral service at the convenience of the family. Interment in Jacob’s Union Cemetery, New Tripoli. Her nephew, Ronald DeManicor, will officiate.
