National Association for College Admission Counseling scheduled a virtual college fair event Oct. 18 and Nov. 8. Whitehall High School students are encouraged to visit the counseling website under College Information for the link for more information and to register.

Zephyr Elementary School’s “wear pink for a cure” day is planned for Oct. 20. Students and staff are encouraged to show their support and wear pink.

Staff will make donations to wear jeans and sneakers. Donations will go to the American Cancer Society.

WHS’ counseling department will host a Zoom financial aid night, featuring a question-and-answer session with Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency representative Michael Burke, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22. This link will be sent out and posted closer to the date.

Red Ribbon Week and Autumn Antics at Zephyr Elementary will be Oct. 26-30. During that week, they will observe anti-drug and anti-bullying awareness.

The schedule of themes for the week includes - Oct. 26: crazy sock day; Oct. 27: tie-dye day; Oct. 28: favorite sports team day; Oct. 29: hat day; and Oct. 30: maroon and gold day.
