The Schillinger, Sechler and Cronomiz families recently participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s 1:30 p.m. Sept. 19 along Mill Road in Schnecksville, behind Heintzelman’s Funeral Home, as it is the street where Lynn C. Cronomiz’s mother resided.
“We will be walking in memory of the late Carol Schillinger, who passed from this disease in 2017,” Cronomiz emailed The Press.
She said because of COVID-19, people cannot gather in large groups as usual at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. Instead families will walk in smaller groups in their respective neighborhoods.
“We are part of the larger team named, Angels Against Alzheimer’s, and our donations support the Lehigh Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s disease,” Cronomiz stated. “Currently our team is in first place having secured $14,798.54 toward our goal of $15,000.”
Donations may be made online at act.alz.org/goto/LynnCronomiz.
