Northampton Fire Department will hold a basket social fundraiser Nov. 6-8 at the station, 4 Lerchenmiller Drive. Hours are 6-9 p.m. Nov. 6, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 7 and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 8. The drawing takes place 3:30 p.m. Nov. 8.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines will be followed.

Reminder: Grace United Church of Christ, 902 Lincoln Ave., will hold a takeout halupki dinner 4-6 p.m. Oct. 17. The meal includes two halupkies, a roll and a cupcake for dessert.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and because of health concerns for members, the Young at Heart group at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church is canceling all meetings until January 2021.

The Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 meetings and bus trips have been suspended through the end of 2020.

Northampton Area Food Bank, 1601 Canal St., is requesting donations for the upcoming holidays. Needed items are turkeys, canned cranberry sauce, corn, green beans, boxed stuffing and pumpkin pies.
