Simple assault
Joseph Charles Garner, 62, of Macungie, allegedly followed and struck another person in the 300 block of Parkside Drive, 11 p.m. Aug. 18, according to Macungie police.
Yhordi Gonzalez Castillo, 23, of Allentown, was taken into custody after police responded to a disturbance at a location in the 70 block of Lea Street Sept. 30 where Gonzalez Castillo allegedly struck another person, according to Macungie police.
DUI
Judith Tatyana Serrano, 23, of Allentown, was allegedly driving under the influence in the 900 block of Willow Lane in Macungie Borough Sept. 5, according to Macungie police. Serrano was transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center.
Martin Birmingham, 32, of Hereford, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence after an accident in the 50 block of West Main Street 3 p.m. Aug. 2, according to Macungie police. Birmingham allegedly drove the wrong way on a one way street, crossed three lanes of traffic without stopping, struck two parked vehicles and hit a residence. Birmingham was transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center.
Burglary
A 33-year-old male allegedly forced his way into a residence in the unit block of East Main Street and removed a box containing approximately $5,000 in cash Sept. 6, according to Macungie police. The male, who is an acquaintance of a resident, left the home before police arrived.
Possession of marijuana
Alexander Ortiz Jr., 35, of Macungie, allegedly had a large glass jar containing marijuana when police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 400 block of Brookfield Circle Sept. 25, according to Macungie police.
Disorderly conduct
Christopher Jakob Santos, 24, of Lower Macungie Township, allegedly refused to provide personal information or leave the roadway after he allegedly lost control of his skateboard while skating along the center lane of East Main Street Aug. 28, according to Macungie police. The board got stuck under a police patrol unit and, after a verbal altercation, Santos allegedly fled the scene.
