Annual Thanksgiving lunch canceled

The East Penn School District recently announced the annual senior citizen Thanksgiving luncheon is canceled.

The following statement dated Oct. 1 appears on the district website, www.eastpennsd.org:

“In an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy during this upcoming holiday season, the East Penn School District will not be hosting their annual Senior Citizen Thanksgiving Luncheon. We look forward to everyone joining us in 2021!”

Traditionally, the annual luncheon welcomes senior citizens who live in the East Penn School District.
