North Catasauqua Recreation Committee is sponsoring a concert again featuring Ryan Tennis 7 p.m. Oct. 2 at North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St.

No refreshments will be served. Bring your own food and drinks.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will be open Oct. 5 with a half-price sale on everything in the shop, unless otherwise marked, through Oct. 16.

New hours will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

The borough recreation committee is also sponsoring a concert featuring Stefanie Johnson 7-9:30 p.m. Oct 17 at the park.
