Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

AUG. 27

Police assisted the fire department in the 1300 block of Washington Avenue.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female on West 21st Street.

A suspicious male in the 100 block of Culver Street was reported.

In the 200 block of West 14th Street, officers conducted an investigation regarding unemployment fraud.

Criminal mischief in the 1700 block of Washington Avenue was filed with the department.

At East 16th Street and Washington Avenue, police responded to a report of fireworks.

A suspicious vehicle on Lerchenmiller Drive was reported.

AUG. 28

Criminal mischief in the 1500 block of Poplar Street was reported. The rear windshield of a legally parked vehicle was smashed.

Police checked on the welfare of females at Howertown Road and East Fifth Street and in the 1900 block of Main Street.

A mountain bike was reportedly taken from a side yard in the 700 block of Washington Avenue.

In the 200 block of West 26th Street, a harassment case was investigated.

Officers served a warrant in the 1000 block of Main Street for two males with outstanding warrants. Both males were transported to Lehigh County Jail.

AUG. 29

Members of the department responded to a noise complaint in the 100 block of West 27th Street.

In the 2000 block of Canal Street, a suspicious vehicle was investigated.

AUG. 30

A hit and run took place in the 2100 block of Dewey Avenue. A legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the driver side.

Juvenile issues in the 1500 block of Newport Avenue and in the 1400 block of Dewey Avenue were investigated.

An animal case of dogs barking in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue was reported.

In the 100 block of West 17th Street, a neighbor issue was investigated.

AUG. 31

Domestic disputes occurred in the 2200 and 2400 blocks of Main Street.

Trespassing in the 1300 block of Atlas Lane was reported.

Officers responded to juvenile problems in the 1600 block of Washington Avenue and at Smith Lane and Lerchenmiller Drive.

In the 1300 block of Vienna Street, a custody issue took place.

An intoxicated male in the 900 block of Main Street was reported to the department.

Suspicious activity in the 1300 block of Laubach Avenue was investigated.

Police responded to a report of an unwanted male in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

SEPT. 1

Officers checked on the welfare of males in the 1700 and 2000 blocks of Main Street and on a female in the 1300 block of Washington Avenue.

In the 300 block of Adaire Court, a custody issue was investigated.

Police investigated an identity fraud case in the 600 block of Banks Street.

SEPT. 2

Police checked on the welfare of a male in the 1300 block of Stewart Street.

At Laubach and Siegfried avenues, a reportable accident involving two vehicles took place.

Juvenile problems at Canal and West 14th streets and in the 2300 block of Washington Avenue were reported.

At Lerchenmiller Drive and Smith Lane, officers responded to a disturbance.

In the 2200 block of Washington Avenue, police investigated a civil issue.
