St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 122 Union St., will be holding a basket social to benefit religious education 5-9 p.m. Sept. 25 and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 26.
Due to COVID-19, this event will be slightly scaled back. There is a limit of 25 people, including volunteers, allowed in the building at one time. Masks must be worn.
Winners will be notified by phone, and a pickup time will be offered for either Monday afternoon or evening or Tuesday morning.
This event will include raffle items and specials.
Tickets will be available for purchase at the door. If you purchased tickets over the winter, they are valid for this event.

Catasauqua’s virtual summer concert series, presented by the borough and The Gas House Dance Hall, continues every Friday night.
Toga Party will perform 8 p.m. Sept. 25.
Concerts are being livestreamed at facebook.com/CattyParkConcerts/live.
This event is a fundraiser for Catasauqua Community Food Bank. Donations can be mailed to Catasauqua Municipal Complex, 90 Bridge St., 18032, or viewers can click the Shop Now button on the concert page and donate through PayPal.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will have its next free community lunch 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sept. 26.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will be open Oct. 5.
There will be a half-price sale on everything in the shop, unless otherwise marked, until Oct. 16.
Because of COVID-19, the new hours will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. You must wear a mask to enter, and only five customers are allowed inside at a time.
The shop is unable to accept clothing donations at this time.
