Allen Township Board of Supervisors reviewed the annual township minimum municipality obligation for nonuniform pension during its Sept. 8 meeting.

Township Manager Ilene Eckhart noted the 2021 minimum municipal obligation is $37,561.49.

Based on the current census, Allen Township is figured to receive around $31,000 in state aid, with potential for more due to late hires made around the cutoff date.

In total, the maximum amount coming from the township cash general fund payment would be $6,061.49.

The board of supervisors approved a motion to acknowledge.
