We all know the word ‘quarantine,’

It stands for isolation;

A time when we stay at home, alone,

And limit all visitations.

The purpose of a quarantine

Is to prevent spreading diseases;

When a disease appears among us,

We must follow the rules,

Regardless of how it pleases.

Nobody wants to stay inside,

We want to be doing our ‘thing’;

But, not listening to all of our orders,

We’ve seen all the heartache it brings!

Many people have died recently,

From the disastrous COVID-19;

It doesn’t care where or who,

It strikes wherever it’s been.

So, take heed, my friends

Follow the rules;

Wear a mask and use all the tools,

Hand sanitizer, gloves, and don’t be a dope,

Be sure you always use the soap!

Keep your hands off your face,

And just maybe this virus we can erase!

Save a life - follow the rules!
