Whitehall-Coplay School District administration, in a Sept. 8 email, notified parents and guardians that an individual “within the district” had been diagnosed with COVID-19.

The notification did not identify if the individual was a student or a WCSD employee.

According to the email, “parents/guardians of students who may have had significant contact with the individual with COVID-19 during the infectious period will be notified by [Pennsylvania] Department of Health to inform you of what to do next.”
