Catty Seniors Plus will not meet this month due to Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf’s mandate on social distancing.

The casino trip for September is also canceled. Casinos are not accepting buses at this time.

North Catasauqua Recreation Committee is sponsoring a concert featuring Stefanie Johnson 7-9:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St.

Bring your own food and beverages. The snack stand will be closed.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will open Oct. 5 with a half-price sale on everything in the shop, unless otherwise marked, through Oct. 16.

The new hours will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Customers must wear a mask to enter, and only five people will be admitted at a time.

The shop is not accepting donations at this time.
