This summer, Calvary Baptist Church of Allentown, 4601 W. Tilghman St., Allentown, started a ‘Breakfast Club' offering non-perishable “Grab & Go” bags of nutritious breakfast foods. Each bag contained five to seven food items not requiring refrigeration. Members of the congregation donated the items. The goal of the ‘Breakfast Club' was to serve anyone in the Lehigh Valley who would like to receive a bag of breakfast snacks. Church volunteers gave out the “Grab & Go” bags during August.
